Black Nativity

Scenic Design

Since 1975, Black Theatre Troupe audiences have enjoyed this legendary holiday event by Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes. It returns every year with a special engagement, a devised, emsemble-based second act that relates the piece with modern themes. A joyous company of singers, actors, dancers and musicians delivers its powerful message of joy, hope, victory and liberation.
